Weekend Bliss + Day 1 of week 3

I had the most wonderfully amazing weekend at the B4BC Ocean Retreat. I stayed 2 nights in a beautiful ocean front house in Encinitas, CA with 10 breast cancer survivors. We had a chef cook us breakfast and dinner each today, a yoga instructor workout with us 2 times a day, and a spiritual intuitive help guide us through her awesome perspective of life. We also had 2 days of surf lessons from a firefighter surf school at beautiful Ponto state Beach. I caught a bunch of waves and was able to stand all the way up on 3 of them! yes! I also was able to explore Encinitas and the very cool self-realization & meditation garden near Swamis. I am so lucky to have been gifted with this opportunity to connect with other women, get the best workout of my life, and had a freakin' blast doing it!

I started Day 1 of Week 3 of my running program. 10 minute walk (I increased my pace!) & 8 minutes of 2 min walk/run intervals. Normally this week still calls for 1 min intervals but I had my music (my girl, Britney) on and I was in the zone! It was followed by a 6 minute walk/cool down. Afterwards I powered through a mini-curcuit room workout. I felt so good but I was pretty tired from all the running. I headed home where my wonderful boyfriend has prepared a Super-healthy pizza just for me. I'm so lucky! I feel great and am truly refreshed!
