I don't want this blog to be confused with my tumblr. I've used my tumblr since day 1 on my cancer journey and will continue to update it with all things cancer & Life. I want this Running Blog to focus specifically on my new running program. I'm doing the program because i love running and frankly, since packing on 40lbs from chemo-steroids i struggle with running a lot. The program is for beginners- it tries to get you from the couch to a 30 minute non-stop run in 6 weeks. It's a 6 day/week physical exercise program where 4 days is committed to increasing your running endurance, 2 days include only fun physical activities, and 1 day is for resting. My day of rest falls perfectly on my chemo day (tuesday). Normally, The program calls for 2 days of muscle building machines but for my condition, i'm focusing more on fun activities, such as swimming, badminton, biking, walking, driving range, and even the circuit room at the gym. Alongside a healthy diet, i'm hoping this program can not only bring my running groove back, but also help me lose weight at ahealthy rate, and officially fight off the rest of the cancer. I will try to update my Running blog as much as possible because I definitely want to highlight my struggles, achievements,  moods, and weight loss. I'm very excited and a little nervous. I have to remember to find motivation every day & Just Do It!
